After a non-break from architecture, the cherry blossom
paintings are finally finished! Loosely based on a photograph by Matthew
Tammaro, this pair of long decorative panels presents a reinterpretation of the
rigid detailing seen in traditional Japanese woodblock prints and mixes it with
the freedom characteristic of Impressionist brushwork.
On another note, because of the generally large workload I
have to endure, I decided that I will just post when I can (which will most
likely be seldom posts here and there). Other than that, I hope you enjoy the subsequent
projects and artworks that do appear!
